I got back from vacation last night. We went to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA in Virginia with Dan’s brother & family. I ate a lot of crap (in small portions), got a ton of exercise (walking), didn’t get my protein, didn’t get my fluids, and managed to lose a pound and a half. Woohoo! I wasn’t sure what to expect with not getting my fluids and protein, but I knew I walked enough to make my legs sore as hell all week. The first couple days were the worst.
I ate a lot of things that should’ve probably made me dump which is a little scary for me. I even ate a junior whopper with cheese yesterday on the way home. It didn’t bother me. I got a chocolate shake which I maybe drank a quarter of. I ate “no sugar added” ice cream almost every night (about a half cup). One night, we went to an all-you-can-eat buffet and I tried a little of a lot of things. I almost figured the combination would make me sick, but I was fine. I ate quite a bit more than normal, still fine. I guess this is where will-power is going to have to step it up.
Also, my hair is doing some serious thinning. I’m wondering if I should take more Biotin than I am.
